Senior Estimator

We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Estimator to lead the preparation of bids and cost estimates for electrical construction projects. This role involves coordinating with estimators, suppliers, and clients to develop competitive, accurate proposals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical estimating and a proven ability to lead complex bid efforts from start to finish. Key Responsibilities: Prepare detailed cost estimates and quantity take-offs. Analyze drawings, specs, and attend pre-bid meetings to define project scope. Identify cost-saving opportunities and support value engineering efforts. Solicit and review subcontractor/supplier quotes. Draft proposal letters and assist with project handoff post-award. Mentor junior estimators and contribute to team development. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). 4+ years of electrical estimating experience. Proficient in estimating software (Accubid, Bluebeam, Livecount Cloud). Strong communication, organizational, and blueprint-reading skills.
