Skilled Electrical Technician

{dir="ltr"}As a ***Skilled*** ***Electrician (Electrician A)***, you will be a member of the department's operating team and will be responsible for operating/using complex electrical tools, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment. You will work in an environment that promotes mutual respect, teamwork, employee involvement and continuous improvement. **For External Hires: $1500 Sign-on bonus** paid out in two increments as follows: $750 paid out at 30 days, $750 paid out at 90 days. **Starting pay** rate is **$41.42** an hour! At 6 months of employment you will you get a pay increase and after a year and a half you will be at top pay rate which is **$43.83** an hour. ***You will have the opportunity to:***- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical systems and equipment.- Work from circuit diagrams and SOP's, when available, and recommends alterations to Lead Electrician or other appropriate departmental personnel.- May be asked to assume duties of Lead Electrician when absent.- Recognize operational irregularities on equipment of processes, accurately determines the cause and takes appropriate corrective actions.- Assist Lead Electrician with providing training to other departmental personnel/apprentices/co-ops/2YD. **REQUIREMENTS:** ?- Must have a High School Diploma or GED.- 2-year degree in electrical controls or electronics.- Must have 2 years of Industrial Electrician experience.- Must have completed at least five years of industrial electrical maintenance work or relevant military experience.- A completed approved four-year apprentice program will also be considered.- Shift work is mandatory.:
