Position Overview This role offers a significant growth path within the organization, working alongside a collaborative and driven team. The Senior Project Engineer will oversee, streamline, and coordinate multidisciplinary engineering activities for large-scale renewable energy projects, guiding them from inception to operational status. The position requires an electrical engineering background and experience of utility-scale solar PV projects. Key Responsibilities Partner with Engineers and Development Managers to provide support throughout project development, design, and cost estimation phases. Collect and analyze essential technical information, such as site plans, electrical loads, and cost data. Review and approve Solar PV layouts (for projects 40+ MW), electrical schematics, and conduct energy modeling using PVsyst or PVcase. Prepare technical documentation and coordinate engineering efforts to support procurement and EPC teams. Assist finance teams with technical due diligence and manage interconnection applications when required. Conduct site visits, uphold safety compliance, and nurture strong business relationships. Required Skills & Qualifications Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and at least 5 years of experience in Solar PV, Energy Storage, or related energy project development. Technical Proficiency: Skilled in AutoCAD, MS Excel, PVsyst or PVcase, and familiar with NEC and other relevant codes. Industry Knowledge: Solid understanding of renewable energy markets, project development cycles, and utility interconnection procedures. Project Management: Proven ability to handle multiple projects, collaborate across departments, and manage complex tasks. Preferred Credentials: Professional certifications such as PE, PMP, or NABCEP are advantageous; experience with Lithium-ion Energy Storage Systems is a plus.
