Facilities Operations - Maintenance Electrical Technician

This position is primarily responsible for performing technical troubleshooting and general repair work on electrical circuits, systems and components throughout the community. Additional duties include fee-for-service projects, installation of appliances, and general maintenance and handyman work throughout the community.

Education & Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED), minimum of 3 years electrical experience required; or equivalent combination of education, experience and certification (apprentice, journeyman or electrician's license). Incumbent should be able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written and oral form, possess verbal and written communication ability, basic math skills, strong customer service skills and be available at all times. Must be proficient in the operation of computer applications, maintenance equipment such as basic tools, ladders, electrical tools and equipment, etc.

Preferred Education and Experience: High school diploma, five (5) years electrical experience and recognized electrical apprentice, journeyman or full licensure.
