Job Description


JOB REQUIREMENTS: Position Purpose: Responsible for troubleshooting,

maintaining, and repairing all types of wire pulling and stringing

equipment, heavy equipment, trailers, and vehicles used for electrical

construction projects. Essential Responsibilities \*Diagnose, inspect

and repair diesel engines, gasoline engines, hydraulic systems,

pneumatic systems, electrical systems, air conditioning systems,

compressors, generators, suspensions, brakes, transmissions, fuel

injection systems, ignition systems and air tools \*Replace and repair

damaged components \*Perform engine flushing/cleaning, parts

lubrication, oil changes and maintenance checks and all equipment

\*Troubleshoot, maintain, and repairing all types of heavy equipment,

trailers, aerial lift platforms, bulldozer, bucket trucks \*Annual DOT

and Crane Inspections \*Perform vehicle preventative maintenance

Knowledge \| Skills \| Abilities \*2-4 years experience diagnosing and

repairing heavy equipment (wheeled and tracked) or trucks \*Ability to

read and interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics, maintenance

manuals, service bulletins and diagrams \*Strong welding (Stick/MIG) and

fabrication skills \*Basic understanding of DOT Regulations \*Basic

understanding of iPhones, iPads and computers \*Good organizational and

recordkeeping skills \*Proficient in the use of diagnostic and testing

equipment \*Customer service skills Qualifications \*High School

graduate. \*Must possess a valid class A Commercial Drive License (CDL)

or have the ability to obtain one. Work Environment \*Must be able to

remain standing approximately 75% of the time \*Occasional bending,

stooping, squatting, reaching \*The person in this position frequently

communicates with employees and vendors and must be able to exchange

accurate information in these situations \*Occasionally lifting 40 pound
