Rehlko is searching for a Mechanical Design Engineer to lead the design

and development of custom generator sets. This role requires technical

expertise in thermodynamics, internal combustion engines, stress

analysis, and electrical theory. Collaborating with cross-functional

teams, you will ensure high-quality, cost-effective solutions and drive

continuous improvement in engineering processes. This position is ideal

for a self-motivated individual with a strong sense of urgency and a

passion for engineering excellence. Specific Responsibilities \* Lead

CAD and engineering design for custom generator sets, enclosures, and

accessories, following the engineering release process. \* Provide

technical recommendations through the sales channel to meet customer

requirements and occasionally interact with end customers. \* Prioritize

custom engineering orders to ensure timely completion and adherence to

delivery commitments. \* Develop parametric components, assemblies,

drawings, and layouts with a solid understanding of design intent and

manufacturing processes. \* Contribute cross-functionally and

cross-culturally to achieve process improvements and optimal generator

set designs. \* Oversee modeling practices at the India Technical Center

(ITC) to ensure quality standards are upheld. \* Collaborate with

electrical, controls, and harness engineers to integrate their designs

into the generator set package. \* Act as a liaison with fabrication and

assembly departments to support production. \* Coordinate with

Purchasing to ensure accurate identification and timely ordering of

components. \* Review and approve assigned custom designs for quality

and feasibility. \* Maintain schedules for assigned projects, identify

risks, and implement corrective measures to address design challenges.

\* Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline business

processes and enhance systems. Requirements \* Possess CAD/3D modeling

experience and proficiency. \* Hold an ABET-accredited BSME (Bachelor of

Science - Mechanical Engineering) with a minimum of 3 years of relevant

mechanical engineering experience. \* MBA (Masters in Business

Administration) or MSEM (Masters in Engineering Management) is a plus

but not required. \* Experience in internal combustion engines is

preferred; power generation or genset experience is advantageous. \*

Demonstrate strong project management and leadership abilities, as well

as the capability to work effectively in a team environment. #LI-TB1
