Project Coordinator

Large utility is looking for a Project Coordinator in Kalamazoo, MI. A Project Coordinator with at least a 2-year technical degree or 60 credits toward a technical Bachelor's degree is responsible for managing customer gas and electric service projects from scoping to field execution, requiring experience with CAD/SAP systems, strong communication, analytical, multitasking, and customer service skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. responsibilities:

• Coordinate the delivery of gas and electric services to residential and commercial/industrial customers.
  
  
• Act as the main liaison between customers, Company, and external stakeholders.
  
  
• Gather customer scope details and oversee projects from design through scheduling and field construction.
  
  
• Estimate system and customer loads and provide project status updates.
  
  
• Create tasks for internal departments, provide cost estimates, and identify permitting needs.
  
  
• Use CAD, SAP, and other software to develop work orders aligned with internal standards.
  
  
• Evaluate distribution system impact and direct technical preparation of work orders.
  
  
• Organize and prioritize project milestones to meet customer due dates.

Education:

• Completed High School (Diploma or GED).
  
  
• 2-year associate degree in a scientific or technical field (minimum 48 technical credit hours), or completion of 60 college credit hours toward a Bachelor's degree in a technical field.
