Shipper/Receiver
2nd shift: Monday - Friday, 12pm - 8pm

Requirements
- Must have High School diploma or GED.
- Must have experience with SAP software.
- Ability to operate a tow motor and overhead crane required.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide
- Must be able to use electronic spreadsheets
- Must be able to organize and file paperwork
- Ability to communicate verbally, in person and via telephone and fax machines
- Ability to read and understand routing and operating procedures.
- Familiarity with Kanban replenishment systems preferred.
Daily and weekend overtime may be required.
Tasks
Under the direction of Supervisor, Manufacturing:
- Execute final packaging and distribution of products to the appropriate destination.
- Transfer material from work in process to finished goods using SAP.
- Follow instructions on delivery notes for shipment to Kennametal distribution centers and directly to customers.
- Pack orders for shipment.
- Work with planners to resolve problems.
- Receive returned tools and store in proper locations.
- Re-order supplies such as boxes, bags, packing tubes, etc.
- Receive product that arrives daily from stock transfers and outside vendors.
- Deliver received items to appropriate areas.

- Maintain regular attendance and perform duties in a timely manner, arriving and departing for assignments and meetings as required.
- Be aware of all standard procedures and practices associated with the position and work to maintain compliance.
