The Turner Group is seeking a motivated Civil Engineer to join and continue the growth of our award-winning team in our Concord, NH office. RESPONSIBILITIES:
Delivery of civil and site projects from conception through final design
Researches zoning and planning requirements and ensures feasibility of design solutions
Follows and manages project budget, work plan, consultants, and schedule
Communicates with Project Team and Clients
Creates design solutions to meet all necessary design requirements and specifications
Performs calculations using Excel and/or MathCad
Generates hydraulic calculations for stormwater design
Creates and proposes scope and fee
Maintains a collaborative professional working relationship with the Project Team
Facilitates communication through meetings, minutes, and up-date memos to Project Team
Ensures projects are in compliance with the office standards
Coordinates work efforts while ensuring that the team remains on schedule and budget
Construction administration including processing of submittals, RFIs, and other project documentation
Contributes to office leadership including professional development coaching and mentoring staff
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum 8 years of highway design experience
Bachelor's degree or higher in Civil Engineering
Professional Engineer registration
Experience in AutoCad / Civil 3D / MicroStation
State DOT design experience
A thorough understanding of drawings, details, and specifications
Technical experience in document coordination and implementation
Management experience integrating engineering and owner consultant teams
Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Careful attention to detail and accuracy
