Our client is seeking a skilled Contract Structural Fitter Welder for a short-term assignment lasting approximately 34 months. This role is ideal for a motivated tradesperson with strong welding and fabrication experience, particularly with carbon steel. Candidates must be able to fit directly from technical drawings and produce high-quality, accurate work.
Assignment Duration: 90120 Days Schedule: MondayThursday, 6:00 AM 4:30 PM Pay Rate: $25 $30/hour (Based on Experience)
Key Responsibilities:-
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to fabricate and fit structural components.

Perform MIG and FCAW welding on carbon steel (experience with aluminum and stainless steel is a plus).

Set up and operate welding equipment and hand tools to ensure high-quality welds.

Use measuring and testing equipment to verify fabrication accuracy and alignment.

Collaborate with engineering and design personnel to improve fabrication efficiency and accuracy.

Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to all safety procedures.

Take ownership of weld quality and accuracy of finished components.
