Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Metal Fabricator for a company based in Baton Rouge, LA. In this role, you will have the opportunity to
The Metal Fabricator possesses 4+ years of industrial metal fabrication experience and requires minimal to no supervisory oversight, training, and fabrication guidance. The Metal Fabricator can be tasked with the most intricate of designs and recommends machines/tools to management to produce metal insulation products. The Metal Fabricator should be proficient in the utilization/operation of the following tools and machines.
Pay Rate
$17.50 - $20.00 per hour
Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Metal Fabricator Duties and Responsibilities
Cut and Roll Machine
Laser or Plasma Cutter
Power Tools utilized in metal fabrication
Hand (non-powered) tools utilized in metal fabrication
Metal Fabricator Qualifications and Requirements
High School Diploma or GED:
Blueprint Reading: Interpreting technical drawings to understand fabrication requirements.
Metalworking Machinery Knowledge and experience with press brakes, drill presses, CNC machines, and other fabrication equipment.
Mathematics and Measurement: Strong understanding of measurements, arithmetic, and algebra for accurate cutting and shaping.
