Our client, a leader in the commercial HVAC industry, is seeking a Commercial Building Engineer to join their team. As a Commercial Building Enigneering , you will be part of a dedicated team supporting multiple facilities in the Charleston, SC area. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently, which will align successfully with the organization's goals.

Job Title: Commercial Building Engineer
Location: Charleston, SC

What's the Job?

  • Perform maintenance and repairs on Mechanical, Plumbing, Structural, and HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Travel between multiple facilities to monitor and maintain building systems.
  • Conduct inspections, calibrations, and adjustments of HVAC equipment to maintain efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with safety procedures and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Monitor the quality and pricing of maintenance work performed by outside contractors.

What's Needed?

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • 5-7 years of experience in maintaining and repairing commercial building systems.
  • EPA Universal Certification.
  • Working knowledge of computer applications including Word and Excel.
  • Valid drivers license.
