Roles and Responsibilities Project Manager
Philosophy: Responsible for project management and contract administration, including scheduling, project cost control, estimating and autonomous project closeouts.
Responsibilities:
Safety: Personal Protective Equipment : Project Manager must wear the appropriate safety equipment and use exceptional safety practices while visiting job sites. This includes all OSHA laws as well as CTI policy.

Quality Control: Continual Awareness : Monitor the labor, material, and equipment resources for each project for efficient and effective production.
Administration: Work Hours : Generally, 50-60 Hours per week; 6:00 a.m. 6:00 p.m. with some weekend work, 52 weeks per year.
Plan Changes : Must be flexible and willing to adapt to current market conditions.
Paperwork : Must possess proficient written communication skills and be detail-oriented with documents on spelling/grammar. Must be efficient in closing out projects without supervision. Perform contract administration, including change orders, invoicing, and receivables.
Appearance: Self : Must be well-groomed, following company dress code, and present self in a professional manner. Always promote positive image of company and be dedicated to the culture and core values of CTI.

Experience
and Education: Previous Experience : 3 5+ years commercial and heavy highway construction experience required. Bachelors degree in Construction Management or Engineering, preferred.
Education : High school diploma and 2-4 years technical school or equivalent.

Requirements: Walking/Sitting: Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time, without discomfort.
Preemployment: Drug Screening: All applicants must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and general, non-DOT physical.
Driving: A valid drivers license is required, as well as a clean driving record.

- Monitors project budgets for optimal cost control. Acts as project money manager, always striving to beat the budget
- Project scheduling with computer aided software
- Schedule and coordinate subcontractors/vendors for optimal
- MOF preparation and distribution
- Schedule and manage pre-production meetings with supervisors
- Accurately read, interpret, and analyze construction plans
- Reviews bids, estimates, and change orders for cost analysis
- Negotiates, prepares, and reviews contracts with clients/vendors
- Conduct detailed job cost analysis and review
- Assist production managers in the analysis of material,
- Understands local market prices and up to date on fluctuations
- Motivated to continually improve the efficiency of the
- Ability to schedule multiple projects utilizing computer aided
- All other job-related tasks, as assigned
