Hiring - Experienced Architectural AutoCAD Drafter

About Us: Alkusari Stone is a leading supplier and fabricator of high-quality stone products for both residential and commercial projects. We work with architects, designers, builders, and homeowners to supply flooring, wall cladding, fireplaces, sinks, and more. We are currently seeking a skilled CAD Drafter with expertise in AutoCAD and architectural design to join our growing team.
Position Overview: As a CAD Specialist at Alkusari Stone, you will play a pivotal role in transforming architectural concepts into detailed, precise designs using AutoCAD. You will work closely with architects and designers to develop shop drawings, cut tickets, plans, elevations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the drafting process. Work experience in countertop fabrication is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:
Draft detailed cut ticket and takeoff drawings in AutoCAD based on architectural plans, field measurements, and project specs
Modify existing drawings to reflect changes and revisions
Collaborate with project managers and shop personnel to ensure drawings are accurate and feasible
Maintain organized records of all drawings and revisions
Review plans for potential issues with stone layout, installation, or fabrication
Ensure all drawings and designs are up-to-date and consistent with changes
Maintain and manage CAD file libraries and project databases

Qualifications:
5+ years of drafting experience in the stone, millwork, or construction industry
Ability to read and interpret architectural and construction plans, and take field measurements
5+ years using AutoCAD or similar software (2D required, 3D a plus)
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Detail-oriented, with a commitment to precision and quality
