Job Description


Welding round carbon steel pipes to fittings and flanges, during night shift. The pipe welder uses specialized welding torches to join pieces of metal to assemble and repair pipes. Perform pipe welds and repairs; set up and maintain welding equipment; reference blueprints and schematics to ensure component specifications.1 year of experience in pipe welding in a similar fabrication shop environment (GTAW, GMAW-RMD and FCAW) is required. MIG and TIG welding required.

Employee will be paid at least every two weeks. a single worksheet will be used to computing wages.

Boarding, lodging will be provided to employee at no charge for the first month in extended hotel rooms. Affordable lodging options will be offered thereafter.

Employer will make all deductions from the worker's paycheck required by law (FICA, Workers Compensation, Unemployment Tax, Medical Insurance).

Worker will be provided with or reimbursed for transportation and subsistence from the place from which the worker has come to work for the employer, whether in the U.S. or abroad, to the place of employment, if the worker completes 50 percent of the period of employment covered by the job order, consistent with 20 CFR 655.20(j)(1)(i).

Employer will provide or pay for the worker's cost of return transportation and daily subsistence from the place of employment to the place from which the worker, disregarding intervening employment, departed to work for the employer, if the worker completes the certified period of employment or is dismissed from employment for any reason by the employer before the end of the period, consistent with 655.20(j)(1)(ii).

Employer will provide daily transportation to and from the worksite. Empl

oyer will reimburse the H-2B worker in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government, incurred by the H-2B worker.

Employer will provide to the worker, without charge or deposit charge, all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the duties assigned, in accordance with 20 CFR 655.20(k). On the job training will be provided to worker when applicable.
