Electrical Engineer

Performs planning, maintenance, design engineering, project management and construction, and operations activities related to routine, non-routine, and emergency restoration duties for transmission and distribution substations throughout the Entergy system.

Requirements:

Bachelors Electrical Engineering or related; some solid experience or academic background in each: simulation and analysis of power system using EMTP RV; ASPEN OneLiner; acSELerator; OMICRON Test Universe; Matlab; Simulink; VBA. In depth knowledge of power systems including operation and controls; transients, surges, and faults. Travel up to 25% to company offices and regional project sites. Hybrid schedule is an option.
