As of January 1, 2025, the new salary range will be $37,782 to $66,120
The primary responsibility of this position is to serve as a facility plumber. This position also performs a variety of tasks ranging from general to routine maintenance assignments as determined by the Supervisor.

  • Working knowledge of the methods of installation and repair of plumbing systems.
  • Experience in safety precautions in the plumbing trade.
  • Skill in the use of tools, materials, and equipment commonly used in the performance of plumbing work.
  • Ability to assume responsibility of lead worker in the performance of plumbing repair and installation.
  • Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions.

High school or General Educational Development (GED) diploma and two years of experience in the repair, replacement or construction of piping systems
OR
An equivalent combination of education and experience.

Based on the nature of work performed, may require appropriate licensure by the governing board or commission.
