Handyman with Carpentry Experience Wanted

We are looking for a reliable and skilled Handyman to help us maintain a safe, clean, and well-functioning environment for our team. The ideal candidate is hands-on, proactive, and takes pride in keeping the building in excellent condition. Experience in carpentry is required, as many of our maintenance tasks involve woodwork, repairs, and minor construction.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine building maintenance tasks (basic repairs, painting, replacing light bulbs, etc.)
Handle basic carpentry work including fixing doors, building shelves, repairing furniture, etc.
Ensure the facility is kept clean and organized, including common areas, washrooms, and classrooms
Assist with setting up rooms and furniture for events, classes, and workshops
Conduct regular inspections to identify and resolve issues (leaks, damage, wear and tear)
Help manage deliveries and move supplies or equipment as needed
Ensure exterior areas such as entrances and pathways are clean and safe

Requirements:

Proven experience in general maintenance or handyman work, with a strong background in carpentry
Ability to handle tools and equipment safely and efficiently
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Good communication and time management abilities
A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to help where needed
