Business Development Manager to BA Commercial

About the role
As a Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in enabling the achievement of our long-term strategic ambitions by working closely with the management group on various topics. You will work across the markets and customer segments to ensure we capitalize on best-practices and our Nordic scale. This is a role for someone who enjoys high-level strategic thinking while simultaneously driving efforts with relatively short-term impact - from assessing market characteristics and opportunities to facilitating and synthetizing workshops on prioritized topics. This role provides an opportunity to build a strong network across the whole organization that will yield a lot of possibilities for development and pursuing a career within the company.
More specifically, in this role you will
Be part of a Nordic team that consist of four persons with background from management consulting
Lead strategic and prioritized projects in Commercial and do deep-dives into selected topics
Be part of the strategy and business planning process and ensure that we continuously work strategically with the right focus
Conduct internal and external analysis to ensure we apply a fact-based decision making
Collaborate with stakeholders from Product & Underwriting, Sales & Service, Digital & CRM, Private, Claims, and other units to evaluate and realize identified opportunities
Proactively identify areas for improvement and make business cases
Work closely with senior stakeholders and facilitate top management discussions and meetings
Who are you?
You are a proactive person with a strategic and entrepreneurial mindset that have a strong business acumen, with a background from management consulting or similar. You have a structured, analytical way of working, and it's natural for you to seek understanding of business operations through a combination of facts and figures. You know how to navigate complex problems and foster collaboration as well as able to build long-lasting relationships with your excellent communication skills.
You also have,
A university degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field
A couple of years relevant working experience from management consulting firm or equivalent
Fluency in English and at least one Nordic language
Ability to help others make complex things easy to understand
Open-minded, approachable and positive personality that instill trust
