In this role, you will work closely with senior engineers, project managers, and multi-discipline teams to develop electrical system designs, drawings, specifications, and reports for a diverse range of buildings. Electrical Design & Engineering:
- Develop electrical designs for power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, security systems, and telecommunications.
- Perform load calculations for generators, transformers, switchgear, panel boards, VFDs, feeders, and branch circuits.
- Prepare design drawings, technical specifications, and engineering reports.
- Research and implement industry standards and best practices.
- Assist with building condition assessments and system evaluations.
Collaboration & Project Support :
- Work closely with mechanical, civil, and structural engineers, as well as architects.
- Assist senior engineers in multi-discipline project coordination.
- Communicate with clients, manufacturers, and contractors to address project challenges and develop solutions.
- Participate in project meetings and contribute technical insights.
Technical Growth & Development:
- Stay current with industry trends, codes, and emerging technologies.
- Receive mentorship from senior engineers and take on increasing project responsibilities.
- Support project management efforts and contribute to proposal development as needed.
