Job Summary:

As a Loenbro company, we live by the values that foster integrity, quality craftsmanship, and community. A Superintendent is a critical member of the project execution team. While specific duties can vary depending on the project's complexity, common responsibilities include:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee management of all project craft employees.

  • Work closely with the project management team to ensure adherence to the project schedule and budget.

  • Maintain the construction schedule for the entire project, ensuring its accuracy and relevance throughout the project lifecycle. Train foremen to develop, monitor, and adhere to a 3-week look-ahead schedule accordingly.

  • Oversee procurement of materials and equipment necessary for the project.

  • Ensure that all work meets required standards and compliance. Assist in the implementation of QA/QC programs.

  • Promote and enforce safety standards on the project site. This includes conducting safety audits, providing safety training to staff, and ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations.

  • Promptly report any violations of policies, procedures, or safety guidelines to the appropriate parties.

  • Ensure all employees within the team know and follow the company's safety, work rules, and policies.

  • Oversee field communication between project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and team members. Attend meetings and ensure all parties are informed of project progress.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in the electrical trade, preferably with data center construction or related fields.

  • Experience managing projects with multiple crews and at least 150 craft employees.

  • Proficiency in interpreting and comprehending drawings, submittals, specifications, and BIM detailing.

  • Strong organizational skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

  • Knowledge of electrical systems and industry standards.

  • Commitment to safety and quality, maintaining compliance with company, state, and OSHA safety standards.

  • Ability to develop, monitor, and adjust construction schedules for overall projects.

  • Ability to contribute to or direct installation and troubleshooting processes.

  • Ability to coordinate manpower needs and material orders following competitive price comparisons.

  • Willingness and ability to work outdoors the majority of the time.

  • Maintain compliance with company, state and OSHA safety standards
