Forklift Mechanic / Technician Position is Elloree, SC Schedule: 1st shift Wednesday- Sunday Salary: Up to $62,000 per year (starting) Experience Required: Minimum 2 years of forklift technician experience Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Forklift Mechanic/Technician to join our team. Key Responsibilities: Perform thorough inspections and preventive maintenance on forklifts and other material-handling equipment Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues to minimize downtime Repair or replace worn components, including tires, brakes, batteries, and load-bearing wheels Maintain detailed and accurate service records of inspections, repairs, and parts replacements Conduct regular safety checks to ensure compliance with OSHA and company regulations Monitor warehouse equipment and proactively report potential issues to the maintenance supervisor Collaborate with warehouse staff to address equipment needs and optimize performance Stay informed on industry advancements , new technologies, and best practices in forklift maintenance Essential Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience in forklift repair and maintenance Strong understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems Ability to perform preventive maintenance and diagnose electrical circuits effectively Familiarity with greasing, load-bearing wheels, and electrical wiring Proficiency in maintaining a safe and compliant work environment Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $63000.00/yr.
