Project Manager/Estimator in Logansport,IN,US

The project manager is responsible for everything from the point of meeting with a client to determining and documenting the scope of work, all the way through delivering the final proposal and monitoring the costs while the project is in process. The ability to work in a fast passed environment while managing multiple projects is a must. The project manager will coordinate pricing with our self performing disciplines as well as sub-contractors and vendors. The project foreman will execute the work in the field while the project manager oversees costs coming in against the project estimates. Construction experience 5yrs (preferred) Flooring experience 3 yrs (preferred) Project management 3yrs (preferred) Valid driver's license with ability to be commercially insured is required The successful candidate will possess the following attributes: retail oriented Good time management Excellent communication skills Understanding of job cost management Ability to develop and manage schedules Able to procure materials and equipment for projects Understanding of billing and close out of projects Proficient in excel and word computer software Knowledge of estimating programs such as Sage, Timberline, Toolbox Can work with a group or on own with minimal supervision Business development skill set Knowledge of construction materials and equipment Ability to read bid packages and blue prints Good understanding of cost variables Able to resolve disputes covering items proposed vs change orders Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance
