Senior Infrastructure Engineer
Location: Columbia, SC (partial onsite required)
Job Responsibilities:
Manage complex, project-driven tasks within the Deployment Management Methodology framework.
Assess customer requirements and evaluate approved technical solutions.
Determine necessary infrastructure changes for servers and networks.
Create detailed deployment specification documents for use by deployment teams.
Incorporate guidance from Architecture, Security, and Operations teams.
Work onsite on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, and as needed.
Skills Required:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
8 years of hands-on experience building or supporting IT infrastructure (servers and/or networks).
Application design experience.
Proficiency in Cisco ACI and GitHub for Software Defined Networks.
Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to multitask.
Preferred Skills:
Proficiency in Windows Server, RHEL, OpenShift, BIGIP, Cisco, Telephony systems, IBM/Hitachi SAN/NAS storage.
Note: C2 eligibility is required for this position. Standard working hours are from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
