What You'll Do: As a Commercial Construction Superintendent, you'll take charge of the on-site management of projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Key responsibilities include: Leading construction activities from preconstruction to project closeout, including scheduling, material procurement, and punch list management. Interpreting drawings and specifications, ensuring compliance with all project requirements. Coordinating with owners, architects, subcontractors, and local authorities through regular meetings. Managing project documentation, including RFIs, as-builts, daily reports, and safety inspections. Tracking job progress, costs, and long-lead items while maintaining clear communication with senior management. Ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality across all project phases. What We're Looking For: Required: 10+ years of experience as a superintendent in commercial construction. Proven expertise in restaurant tenant improvement (T.I.) projects. Certifications: OSHA 30 and CPR/First Aid. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Projects). A strong track record of managing teams, budgets, and schedules successfully. Preferred: Experience with San Diego International Airport Projects. Familiarity with Bluebeam and Procore. Safety Trained Supervisor Construction (STSC) certification. Strong MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) background. Position Details: Average workweek: 50 hours. No relocation assistance available.
