Experienced Mechanical 2D/3D CAD Designer in Monroe,LA,US

Mechanical Designer - Full-time We need a skilled Mechanical Designer with expertise in CADWorx, AutoCAD Plant 3D, and 2D AutoCAD for industrial projects in Oil & Gas, Chemical, and Pulp & Paper sectors. Role Overview: Create 3D models and IFC drawing packages for piping/mechanical components. Work with multi-disciplinary teams on varied project scales . Balance office-based CAD work with field visits for data collection. Conduct site visits, requiring climbing, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and measuring in industrial settings . Skills & Experience Required: CADWorx - Pipe modeling, spec editing, Isogen setup, block creation. AutoCAD Plant 3D - P&ID drafting, piping/equipment modeling, isometric generation. 2D AutoCAD - Layering, dimensioning, annotations, piping plans, elevations, P&IDs. Piping Knowledge - Understanding of fittings, dimensioning, client specs, basic codes. Fieldwork - Measuring industrial equipment, sketching piping layouts, using hand tools. Preferred (Not Mandatory): Experience with 3D scanning, point clouds, ASME/API codes, project leadership . Proficiency in MS Excel, Outlook, estimating, and material take-offs .
