Full job description: State of Florida PLS or PSM License required. Surveying Experience required. PayScale according to knowledge and ability. Must be responsible and on time. Valid driver's license required. At least 40 hours a week, with overtime possible. Weekend work when necessary. Proficient in electronic survey equipment unless entry-level. The Civil Engineering section of the firm has had varied experience in the study, design, and construction phases of all types of public and private projects throughout Florida. Specific fields of services include design and construction monitoring of individual, gravity, and pressure sanitary sewer systems; water distribution systems; stormwater management systems; and roadway systems from local to collector roads. Our client has established an excellent rapport with the numerous permitting agencies and has developed an exceptional track record for acquiring permits through the complex multi-agency process. The Land Surveying section draws from many years of experience in the Southeast Florida area. The scope of services provided range from boundary surveying, topographic surveying, and tree surveys to final construction layout and as-building of completed improvements. Numerous route and location surveys have been performed for the design of roadway, water, sewer, drainage, and utility systems. The associated plats, surveys and easement sketches, and legal descriptions are routinely prepared for all projects. The latest 3-D Laser Scanners are also utilized to provide the most accurate survey data possible. The Landscape Architecture section offers various disciplines of the field including the preparation of site plans, landscape plans, grading plans, lighting plans, irrigation plans, water, and land use plans and environmental plans. All specifications, calculations, and permits are handled within our Landscape Architecture department. Project experience ranges from single-family estate homes to major subdivisions including entry features, clubhouses, parks, and roadways.
