This job order is for a temporary/seasonal position in: (Hammon, Ok.)Title: Agricultural Equipment OperatorsDates of Contract: 06/28/2025-12/31/2025Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00-5:00pmDuties: Load and unload crops or containers of materials, manually orusing conveyors, handtrucks, forklifts, or transfer augers.Mix specifiedmaterials or chemicals, and dump solutions, powders, or seeds intoplanter or sprayer machinery.Spray fertilizer or pesticide solutions tocontrol insects, fungus and weed growth, and diseases, using handsprayers.Observe and listen to machinery operation to detect equipmentmalfunctions.Manipulate controls to set, activate, and adjust mechanismson machinery.Operate or tend equipment used in agricultural production, suchas tractors, combines, and irrigation equipment.Adjust, repair, andservice farm machinery and notify supervisors when machinerymalfunctions.Attach farm implements such as plows, discs, sprayers, orharvesters to tractors, using bolts and hand tools.Load hoppers,containers, or conveyors to feed machines with products, usingforklifts, transfer augers, suction gates, shovels, orpitchforks.Direct and monitor the activities of work crews engaged inplanting, weeding, or harvesting activities.Operate towed machines such asseed drills or manure spreaders to plant, fertilize, dust, and spraycrops.Weigh crop-filled containers, and record weights and other identifyinginformation.Walk beside or ride on planting machines while inserting plants inplanter mechanisms at specified intervals.Drive trucks to haul crops,supplies, tools, or farm workers.Guide products on conveyors to regulateflow through machines, and to discard diseased or rotten products.Positionboxes or attach bags at discharge ends of machinery to catch products,removing and closing full containers.Irrigate soil, using portable pipes orditch systems, and maintain ditches or pipes and pumps. Other season farmduties as assigned. Maintain farm buildings and fences. Farming with: Alfalfa,Requirements: Minimum of 3 months of experience is required. Must be able toobtain a driver's license within 30 days of hire. Employer requires drugscreen post hire at employers expense due to the liability of operatingequipment. Employer requires criminal background check post-hire atemployers' expense due to the presence of children on the farm and expensivetools and equipment. Failure to pass drug screen and/or criminal backgroundcheck will result in termination of employment. Lift and carry items weighingup to 60 pounds. The worker will be exposed to extreme temperatures. Extensivepushing and pulling is required. Extensive sitting is required. Extensivewalking is required. Frequent stooping is required. Repetitive movements isrequired. Workers must have positive verifiable experience relevant to thejob and be capable of performing physically demanding tasks. Workers must beable to speak English. Employees must adhere to strict biosecurity, companypolicies, and food safety guidelines, ensuring compliance with health andsafety regulations. Certain roles may require a valid drivers license within30 days of hire and a clean driving record for operating company vehicles.Exceptional performance may be rewarded with additional compensation orbenefits at the employer s discretion. Workers must be responsible, followinstructions, and comply with attendance, punctuality, and workschedules, as repeated absenteeism, failure to meet job expectations,misconduct, insubordination, or violations of safety protocols may resultin termination. The use of electronic devices during work hours is restrictedto emergencies, and smoking, alcohol, and firearms are strictlyprohibited in work areas and in employer-provided housing.
