Machine Operator - $19-$20/HR - 2nd Shift Job Description As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring machinery and equipment in a safe and productive manner. You will ensure quality testing of products, use proper raw materials, package finished products, perform minor maintenance on machines, and complete all necessary paperwork. Meeting or exceeding standards for quality and production is essential, and you must be willing to work in a team environment by assisting others in their duties. Responsibilities Set up, operate, and monitor machinery and equipment safely and productively. Conduct quality testing of products and ensure proper use of raw materials. Package finished products and perform minor maintenance on machines. Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation. Meet or exceed standards for quality and production. Assist OP1's with parts preparation and labeling for shipping and receiving. Essential Skills 3+ years of experience operating a machine in a manufacturing environment. Experience with CNC, Plastic Injection, or Press machines. Proficiency in documenting production, preferably using computer systems. Quality inspection experience beyond visual checks. Ability to read blueprints and conduct first piece and last piece inspections. Experience with gauges and micrometers. Strong teamwork skills, assisting operators as needed. Additional Skills & Qualifications General labor experience. Machine operation and assembly skills. Proficiency in quality inspection and production tasks.
