Position: Project Manager - CAD (Carve Out and Consolidation Projects)
Location: Detroit, Michigan (Onsite)

: Program Manager (Program Governance Team)

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee both carve-out and consolidation activities for CAD data.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, specifically within the CAD domain, and will be responsible for managing all aspects of these projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management:
Lead and manage carve-out and consolidation projects for CAD data, ensuring all project milestones are met.
Coordination:
Work closely with the Program Manager to align project goals and deliverables and project risks.
Planning:
Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
Execution:
Oversee the execution of project plans, coordinating with various teams to ensure smooth progress.
Monitoring:
Track project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
Reporting:
Provide regular updates to the Program Manager and other stakeholders on project status, risks, and outcomes.
Quality Assurance:
Ensure all project deliverables meet the required quality standards.
Stakeholder Management:
Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders, including clients, team members, and senior management.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience
: Minimum of 10 years of dedicated project management experience, with a focus on CAD & PLM projects.
Skills:
Strong project management skills, including planning, execution, and monitoring.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in CAD software and tools.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Certifications: PMP or similar project management certification preferred.
Additional Qualifications:
In-depth knowledge of CAD software such as NX, CATIA, Creo, and AutoCAD.
Strong understanding of engineering principles and design methodologies.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
Experience in CAD license management and financial oversight.
Flexibility to work non-standard hours when necessary.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
