Screen Room Operator - 8th Shift Job Description Join our team as a Screen Room Operator on the 8th Shift, where you will play a crucial role in operating and maintaining machines in a clean main room setting. This position requires adherence to strict quality control standards and safety protocols. Responsibilities Operate machines such as scalpers, classifiers, swecos, and rotex to work instruction standards. Disassemble, clean, and reassemble main room machines and containers to quality control standards, including storage and revert bins. Maintain a 'clean as you go' workspace, adhering to CORE and FOD expectations. Utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow all environmental health and safety (EH&S) requirements. Essential Skills Experience in a production setting working with machines as a general production worker, machine operator, or plant laborer. Ability to lift 50lbs on a regular basis. Reliable transportation to ensure punctuality. Familiarity with cleanroom procedures, blueprint reading, machine operating, assembly, quality control, and general labor. Additional Skills & Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent (e.g., G.E.D.) or vocational/technical education in a related discipline. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Clayville, New York. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
