Architectural Designer in Valdosta,GA,US

Our Client, an architectural firm in Valdosta, Georgia, is seeking a highly motivated individual to work alongside firm principals in developing and coordinating project construction documents to include both drawings and specifications. We are looking to add a team member that possess the following Traits: Detail oriented person who is able to proof/check their own work Person with excellent scheduling and time management skills Person who finds ways to work smarter rather than working longer/more hours Below is a brief description of the Position Responsibilities: Ability to read and understand structural, civil, electrical, mechanical and plumbing drawings Coordination of drawings between architectural and engineering trades Ability to multitask - work on multiple projects Code research and implementation/compliance within documents Able to review construction submittals and RFIs Production of architectural drawings from schematic design through construction documents Qualifications: Proficient in both AutoCAD and Revit Understanding of architectural terminology and systems Highly developed drawing/drafting skills Post-secondary Degree or Completion of a Technical School Program in drafting 2+ years of experience in architectural, engineering office Person must be authorized to work in the US and must be able to pass Government background check Samples of candidate's production of construction documents and examples of their experience required Location: Valdosta, Georgia Full-time, in-person, on location, remote work not considered Salary: Commensurate with experience and abilities Job Type: Full-time Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Schedule: 8 hour shift Monday to Friday Ability to Commute: Valdosta, GA 31605 (Required) Ability to Relocate: Valdosta, GA 31605: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location : In person
