Proven experience in independent design and developing digital, analog, and microcontroller-based systems. Proficiency with simulation/modeling tools (e.g., LTSPICE, MATLAB). Expertise with CAD tools for schematic creation and PCB design; board layout experience is a plus. Competence in coding and debugging experience with bare-metal microcontroller firmware, embedded Linux, and Python tooling. Hands-on approach supporting designs throughout the product lifecycle, including troubleshooting and resolving field issues. Experience supporting products in a manufacturing environment. Responsibilities: Drive the development of new electro-optical products and support existing products. Troubleshoot and resolve issues with faulty products, recommend enhancements and implement necessary design changes. Develop test procedures, protocols, and corrective action plans. Design, prototype, and produce electronic systems, including circuit design, PCB layout, firmware development, and system validation. Support manufacturing operations, ensuring seamless transitions from development to production. Take ownership of the system from the architecture development down to day-to-day production support.
