Structural Designer

Structural Designer Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Structural Designer to join a steel manufacturing company in Omaha, NE. Position Details: Type: Direct Hire Schedule: 7am-4pm, M-F Location: Omaha, NE Pay/Salary: $50,000-$80,000 starting pay Job Duties: Examine project drawings and specifications to ensure complete comprehension of the project scope. Work closely with estimators to develop, review, and update shop drawings, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution of questions or concerns. Develop and nurture strong relationships with clients and vendors, identifying their needs and offering customized solutions. Manage the revision process for drawings, ensuring updates are clearly communicated to all relevant parties. Utilize software to produce accurate and detailed drawings for structural steel fabrication and installation. Other duties as assigned. Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Construction Management or a related field. Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings with precision. Prior experience in structural steel fabrication, erection, or project management is preferred. General construction knowledge and familiarity with customer service best practices.
