HVAC Technician

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Facilities Technician. In this critical role, you will be responsible for maintaining the safety, comfort, and functionality of our facility through expert repairs, preventive maintenance, and system diagnostics. This position requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for all residents. Key Responsibilities: Perform regular maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems, including diagnosing and resolving compressor failures Maintain and troubleshoot DX systems to ensure proper performance Apply mechanical knowledge to repair and replace components across a variety of facility systems Conduct plumbing repairs involving pipes, drains, fixtures, and general water systems Execute electrical tasks such as changing plugs, switches, and related components Diagnose and resolve technical and mechanical issues in a timely and efficient manner Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate repairs and ensure maintenance standards are met Follow all safety regulations and protocols to protect residents and staff Support additional maintenance tasks and special projects as directed by the supervisor Qualifications: Proven experience in HVAC maintenance and diagnostics, including compressor and DX systems Intermediate plumbing, electrical, and mechanical repair skills Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively Excellent communication skills and a customer-service mindset High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification(s) preferred Must be able to lift heavy objects, stand for long periods, and work in varying weather conditions
