Maintenance Mechanic- Working in a Manufacturing environment- 1st shift Responsibilities: Maintain facility equipment and infrastructure Ensuring all machinery, HVAC systems, and production equipment are maintained and repaired, and functioning efficiently and safely. Conduct preventative maintenance Provide emergency/ unscheduled repairs of equipment during production. Troubleshoot and diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make required adjustments. Work with maintenance team to ensure the facility complies with all federal, state, and local regulations, including OSHA standards. Proactively conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and enforce workplace safety practices. Maintain facilities and grounds, including lawn care, leaf removal, preparing facilities for inclement weather, and snow removal. Perform janitorial tasks, such as changing light bulbs, sweeping and/or mopping, cleaning restrooms and assisting with trash removal when necessary. Perform basic plumbing repairs such as cleaning clogged drains/toilets, replacing faucets and fixtures, washers, gaskets, piping and fittings. Perform basic carpentry and related repairs such as hinges, window treatments, locks and other small repair tasks. Qualifications/Experience At least 3 years of prior experience working as a Maintenance Mechanic in a manufacturing facility or a fabrication machine shop environment. Experience with CNC machines- ability to perform repairs on CNC and manual milling and turning machinery and equipment. Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems, HVAC systems and building maintenance. Experience with high-precision equipment and machine shop operations a plus. Strong knowledge of a variety of manufacturing equipment related to welding, forming, hydraulic presses, cranes and hoists, lathes and milling machines. Ability to operate equipment such as forklift, plow truck and skid steer. Excellent interpersonal skills Knowledge of OSHA and other environmental regulations.
