ST2 - Painter

Position Overview

This position is open for Contractor Conversions only.

Responsibilities

+ Prepare paint area appropriately to result in good paint application that meets paint specification criteria

+ Paint components using appropriate spray techniques and adjust spray equipment as appropriate

+ Prepare the bus to mask the areas that will be painted

+ Mix paints and work with solvents

+ Identify paint defects and root cause

+ Maintain basic safety precautions when handling paints/solvents

Minimum Requirements

+ Prior automotive painting experience

Additional Requirements

+ Ability to repair and paint defects

+ Ability to perform painting in hard to reach and awkward positions

+ Ability to perform task in full gear of painters PPE, including respirator

+ Ability to walk/stand up to 10 hours per day

Desired Skills

+ Experience with automotive body repairs

+ At least 1 year of automotive hands on experience with paint

+ Good mechanical aptitude
