Driftwood LNG LLC is located approximately 11 miles southwest of Lake Charles, Louisiana. The project includes a mid-scale, mixed-refrigerant Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) production and export facility on the west side of the Calcasieu River. There are five identical process plants. Each process plant consists of one gas pre-treatment unit, one condensate stabilization unit, and four Chart heavy hydrocarbon (HHC) removal and liquefaction groups. The facility will include associated utilities, refrigerant storage, three 235,000m3 full-containment LNG storage tanks, and three marine berths.

In this role, you will provide project field engineering specialization and expertise with work planning and packaging, material management, quantity verification and validation, safety and quality control, technical inspection and testing knowledge, and subcontract coordination. Your recommendations will ensure field engineering activities operate safely, are complete, and conform to quality standards and project requirements. Scope of work will include working on the Materail offloading facility, Jetty and Berth, overseeing Formwork, rebar and concreting among other related tasks.

Work Planning & Packaging

• Prepares construction drawings and sketches.
• Facilitates planning construction methods and procedures.

Material Management

• Initiates requisitions for field purchases
• Prepares quantity takeoffs of field purchased material and equipment.

Quantities

• Verifies commodities on quantity tracking systems or other computer database systems as required.

Safety / Quality Control

• Ensures zero accident philosophy and requirements are implemented and adhered to by craft and others when in the operational area, and tools and equipment are in safe condition and operated safely.

Technical

• Proactively considers continuous learning or show interest to pursue appropriate learning activities

System Turnover Coordinator

For Direct Hire

• Develops firm understanding of system and area scoping and drawings required for package development.

STR / Subcontract Coordinator

• Reviews and approves inspection test plans,
• Coordinates reviews of subcontractor submittals

Required bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 5-8 years of relevant experience or 9-12 years of relevant work experience

• Providing support to field supervision in establishing requirements for manpower, tools, equipment, and material requirements.
• Ensures that concrete works meets design requirement, specifications and standards
• Coordinates technical queries between construction and engineering
• Ensures that the concrete works follow the Inspection Test Plan and all records are maintained
• Has experience in all aspects of concreting works from planning, materials to installation
• Ideally has experience in marine based operations placing concrete over water including but not limited to:
  • Oversight and supervision of precast beam and plank manufacture
  • Formwork, rebar and concreting of pile caps
  • Formwork, rebar and concreting of box girders (tie in precast)
  • Formwork, rebar and concreting of decking (tie in precast) cast in place topping
  • Formwork, rebar and concreting of dolphin and mooring caps work over water
