Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Inspector to join our team, specializing in construction projects across the United States. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical inspection, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety.
Job Description
- Conduct detailed inspections of electrical systems and installations on construction sites to ensure compliance with national and local codes.
- Review electrical plans, blueprints, and specifications to verify proper installation and adherence to project requirements.
- Perform tests on electrical systems and components to ensure functionality and safety.
- Document inspection results, prepare comprehensive reports, and communicate findings to project managers and other stakeholders.
- Identify and report any electrical hazards, defects, or non-compliance issues.
- Collaborate with construction teams to address and resolve electrical issues or discrepancies.
- Provide guidance and recommendations to ensure electrical work meets quality and safety standards.
- Stay updated with the latest electrical codes, standards, and industry best practices.
- Travel to various job sites as required.
Skills Required
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical inspection, preferably in construction projects.
- Certification as an Electrical Inspector (e.g., ICC, IAEI) is preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and inspection techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel to job sites as needed.

- Perform work safely and effectively. Understand and follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies.
- Work during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines. Work overtime and weekends as required.

Education/Training/Certifications
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
