Electrician Direct Hire

Our client, a leader in the electrical services industry, is seeking an Electrician Direct Hire to join their team. As an Electrician, you will be part of the technical support department, ensuring the smooth operation of electrical systems and equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, effective communication abilities, and a commitment to safety, which will align successfully with the organization.

Job Title: Electrician Direct Hire

Location: DeForest, WI

Pay Rate: $35/hr+

What's the Job?

• Install all electrical segments in various equipment such as gas mixers, air compressors, and plant lighting.
• Troubleshoot, adjust, and repair all electrical equipment, including solid state circuits and complex timing devices.
• Perform preventative maintenance on assigned electrical systems and equipment.
• Identify inefficiencies and potential electrical problems, coordinating with supervisors to resolve them.
• Program logic controls (PLC) for proper equipment operation.

What's Needed?

• Broad training in a related field, usually acquired through an associates degree or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years of job-related experience in electrical systems.
• Experience with PLC programming & troubleshooting, HMI, and industrial electrical networking.
• Working knowledge of multimeters, solid state circuitry, and electrical-mechanical devices.
• Knowledge of safety practices and basic understanding of the national electrical code (NEC).
