Job Summary

Summary

Responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing construction projects. This position involves managing the entire project lifecycle, collaborating with various stakeholders, and ensuring the successful delivery of hospital facilities that meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards.

Essential Functions

  • Develop comprehensive project plans outlining scope, timelines, budgets, and resource requirements.
  • Create and manage project budgets, ensuring financial goals are met.
  • Oversee the selection and negotiation of contracts with construction firms, architects, and subcontractors.
  • Supervise and coordinate construction activities, ensuring adherence to approved plans and specifications.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, identifying critical milestones and potential bottlenecks.
  • Ensure all construction activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including healthcare industry standards.
  • Facilitate effective communication among project stakeholders, including hospital administrators, contractors, and regulatory authorities.
  • Coordinate the final inspection, testing, and commissioning of hospital facilities.

Qualifications

Education Bachelor's Degree Construction Management required or Bachelor's Degree Civil Engineering required or Bachelor's Degree Related Field of Study required Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? No Licenses and Credentials Experience Experience as a Project Manager in hospital construction or healthcare facilities. 2-3 years required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - Knowledge of construction management software and project scheduling tools. - Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, building codes, and safety standards. - Excellent organizational and leadership skills. - Effective communication and interpersonal abilities. - Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
