PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead the planning, design, and permitting of civil engineering, site/land development, and infrastructure projects.
Design and oversee site layout, grading, drainage, infrastructure, erosion and sediment control, and landscaping from concept through completion.
Attend client, municipal, and regulatory agency meetings, as needed for project approvals.
Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to define project scope, goals, deliverables, resources, budget, and timeline.
Coordinate scope and pricing changes with clients and communicate with company leadership.
Ensure that all steps and procedures are followed through the local jurisdictional requirements.
Interface with clients, other discipline managers, and local, state, and federal review staff.
Coordinate drawings with surveyors, architects and other project consultants.
Assume responsibility for the quality of the work performed, client service, utilization of staff, reputation of office, contract management, and project profitability.
Assist in the preparation of project proposals, response to RFPs, and actively conduct business development as directed by company leadership.
Actively pursue and communicate project opportunities.
Represent the firm at various public and private functions.
Supervise construction observation and administration related duties such as meetings, site visits, response to RFIs, and review of shop drawings. Develop solutions for field issues.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Landscape Architecture.
5 to 10+ years experience in civil engineering and site/land development is preferred.
Pennsylvania registered Professional Engineer's (PE) license, Landscape Architect (RLA) license, or Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification is preferred.
Advanced knowledge of hydrology and hydraulics, erosion and sediment control, water and wastewater systems, grading, roads and highways, construction management, and associated topics.
Proficiency with AutoCAD and Civil 3D is a plus.
Advanced knowledge of local municipal and state land use processes and regulations.
Demonstrated ability effectively managing projects from concept through construction.
Ability to work well on several multi-disciplinary projects at a time.
Ability to work independently at times and as a part of a multidisciplinary team of others.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office business software, including Word, Excel, etc.
