Superior Skilled Trades is seeking experienced residential apprentice electricians in Statesville, NC

WEEKENDS OFF! TEMP-TO-PERM!

PAY: $16- $19 per hour (based on experience)
HOURS: Shifts will be 8-hour workdays, 5 days per week
SCHEDULE: Workdays will be Monday- Friday; 7:00 am 3:30 pm

Residential Apprentice Electrician Job Description:
Motivated and safety-conscious Residential Electrician Apprentice with 2 years of hands-on experience assisting journeyman and master electricians on residential projects. Skilled in supporting the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in new construction single-family homes, multi-unit dwellings, and residential remodels.

Qualifications for Residential Electrical Apprentice:
2 years minimum of residential electrical work for a contractor
Assisted in installing outlets, switches, light fixtures, fans, and circuit breakers under supervision.
Pulled wire through walls, attics, and crawl spaces following NEC and local code requirements.
Interpreted electrical blueprints and residential wiring diagrams with guidance.
Mounted electrical panels and helped with service upgrades and subpanel installation.
Supported troubleshooting of common residential issues such as faulty outlets, light flickering, and breaker trips.
Tested continuity of circuits using multimeters and other basic testing tools.
Maintained a clean and safe work area while complying with OSHA and site safety protocols.
Must be able to safely use hand/power tools and PPE
Must be able to perform job duties that require standing, crouching, twisting upper body, working at heights, and lifting up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
Position requires the use of PPE, including: Steel-Toe work boots, safety vest, hard hat, safety glasses, and gloves.
Must have standard electrical hand tools.

Additional Requirements for Residential Electrical Apprentice:
Must be eligible to work in the United States
Must have reliable transportation to the job site
Depending on assignment, applicants may be subject to pre-employment drug screen and background screening.
