Position Summary
The Aquatic Engineer is responsible for the entire design process from Schematic Design through Construction Administration to Grand Opening of new facilities. Will design the aquatic components of new facilities in accordance with local jurisdictional requirements on prototype projects and unique tenant improvement projects.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Code Review and interpretation, coordination with jurisdictional authorities
- Modeling pool structure, accessories, and mechanical systems in Revit software
- Equipment selection and sizing
- Coordination with Architectural, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing disciplines
- Coordination with Life Time Construction
- Review installing contractor submittal data and Requests for Information
- On site construction observation and reporting
Position Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, or Associates Degree in Civil Engineering Design, Mechanical Engineering Design with 10+ years experience.
- 3+ years' experience
Preferred Requirements
- Professional Engineer License
- Proficiency with Revit software
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software
- Proficiency with Bluebeam Revu software
- Thorough understanding of fluid mechanics
- Understanding of water chemistry
