- Estimate costs for drywall and metal framing projects accurately and efficiently.
- Review project specifications and drawings to determine scope and requirements.
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure project estimates align with client expectations.
- Maintain detailed records of estimates and related documentation.
- Participate in bid processes and contribute to project planning and development.
- 15 years of experience in construction estimation.
- Proficiency in estimating metal stud framing and drywall hanging.
- Strong knowledge of gypsum wallboard materials and applications.
- Experience with light gauge steel trusses and insulation.
- Familiarity with acoustical wall panels and finishing techniques.
The role requires working in the office five days a week under the VP of estimating. The projects involve rough carpentry, general carpentry, finishing carpentry, general drywall, gypsum wallboard, metal stud framing, load-bearing metal stud systems, light gauge steel trusses, insulation, acoustical wall panels and ceilings, blocking, and sound sealants.
