What you will do:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, and control systems.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical equipment.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues, providing timely and effective solutions.
- Ensure all electrical work complies with local, state, and federal regulations and safety standards.
- Collaborate with other maintenance staff and departments to support hospital operations.
- Maintain accurate records of all electrical work performed.
- Respond to emergency electrical issues promptly and efficiently.
- Assist in planning and executing electrical projects and upgrades.
What is required:
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an electrician apprenticeship program preferred.
- Valid electricians license in the state of Florida.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an electrician, preferably in a healthcare or commercial setting.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, blueprints, and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and materials as needed.
