In this role, you'll dive into a mix of building enclosure and energy compliance consulting for both new and existing structures while also tackling structural repair and retrofit designs. **What You Will Do**

**Assist repair/retrofit investigations and design (50%)**

- Conduct site investigations to document existing conditions

- Coordinate logistics of site visit with contractor, clients, and other experts as necessary

- Perform analysis (code compliance, calculations, modeling, structural calculations is a plus etc.)

- Generate written report outlining observations and recommendations

- Generate repair drawing set

**Produce design of building enclosure systems for new construction and existing buildings (40%)**

- Generate standalone set of CAD drawings of building enclosure systems

- Oversee and provide guidance for drafters

- Interface with clients to discuss project goals and needs

- Conduct site visit to document as-built geometries

- Research and specify materials and respond to city review comments

- Review and respond to submittals and RFIs during construction

**Provide guidance on building enclosure related energy compliance (5%)**

- Perform calculations to demonstrate compliance with WSEC and SEC

- Review architectural and BE drawings and provide comments regarding compliance

- Generate energy compliance forms and supporting calculations

**Investigate and opine on failures (5%)**

- Conduct site investigations to document existing conditions

- Coordinate logistics of site visit with contractor, clients, and other experts as necessary

- Perform analysis (code compliance, modeling etc.)

- Generate written report outlining observations and recommendations

- Generate written scope of repair

**May include other duties, as assigned.**
