Responsibilities:

  • SAP new order entry and data maintenance.
  • Assist Project Management from receipt of order to delivery and payment.
  • Work closely with Project Managers to ensure all work orders are opened and closed in a timely manner.
  • Continuous customer contact verifying delivery dates and determining delivery sequence on larger projects.
  • Data modification in SAP reflects customer demand and delivery dates.
  • Develop and release broker BOM, from customer cut lists, to manufacturing, and subcontractors.
  • Modification of order entry data and revenue appropriately regarding change orders, etc.
  • Respond timely to customer inquiries.
  • Coordinate between vendors and customers.
  • Manage small projects from beginning to end as directed by Project Managers.
  • Provide appropriate and timely verbal and written communication to customers and vendors.
  • Maintain effective communication records and project files.
  • Maintain shipping and scheduling data for all projects
  • Assist with the Sales Team, logistics, BOLs, and supporting documents as well as driver communication of shipping as needed.
  • All other duties as assigned

Experience, Education & License Requirements:

  • High school Diploma or its equivalent
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in an office, manufacturing environment, or an equal combination of education and experience
  • Customer service experience, a plus

Skills & Abilities:

  • Must be mathematically inclined, detail-oriented, exceptionally organized and time sensitive.
  • Intermediate level of Microsoft Products, with higher level Excel experience
  • Ability to understand contracts for review and preparation.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to understand scope of work on each project (low to medium complexity).
  • Understanding of supply chain process regarding lead times and special orders.
  • Ability to learn and understand bridge contract drawings and/or shop drawings.
  • Problem-solving skills
