Senior Project Engineer - Mechanical

Responsibilities

What You'll Do:

• Serve as lead designer on mid-sized, multi-disciplinary projects
• Collaborate with clients, teammates, and agencies to drive project success
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to our culture of continuous learning
• Perform complex engineering designs, and QA/QC
• Guide construction phases to ensure compliance and client satisfaction
• Influence project scoping, pricing, and business outcomes

Qualifications

What You Bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field required
• 6+ years of prior mechanical and/or plumbing design experience as an engineering MEP consultant or plumbing contractor required
• Professional Engineer license required (Florida)
• Experience with architectural projects such as schools, municipal buildings, health care facilities, commercial buildings or related projects required
• Prior experience with project management from start to finish with both contractors, clients and other disciplines preferred
• Strong technical skills in CADD, GIS, BIM, and Microsoft Office
• Collaborative mindset and leadership abilities
• Passion for mentoring up-and-coming engineers
• A passion for creative problem-solving and community-focused work
