Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly experienced and detail-oriented individual to join our dynamic team as the Facilities Maintenance Supervisor. This role will lead the Facilities Maintenance Team to support the development and execution of asset maintenance and reliability programs for our Facilities infrastructure. As the Facilities Maintenance Supervisor, you are responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of an organization's buildings, equipment, and systems. The role ensures the facilities are safe, functional, and meet organizational standards. The supervisor manages maintenance staff, schedules work and ensures compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
Essential Duties:
Builds, leads, and develops the Facilities Maintenance Team (6+ personnel) to ensure maintenance excellence and prompt customer service.
Lead, train, and manage maintenance staff, assigning tasks while monitoring performance.
Coordinate with external contractors and vendors when needed.
Work with the Facilities Operations Team to develop and implement maintenance plans and schedules for all buildings and systems.
Facility Inspections: Conduct regular inspections to identify and address issues before the escalate. Ensure Facilities comply with safety, health and environmental standards.
Maintenance Management: Oversee routine and preventative maintenance for building systems, such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, steam process, compressed air, and structural components. Ensure all repairs and maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and effectively
Report to the Facilities Maintenance and Reliability Manager, providing regular updates on the status of maintenance tasks, projects, and any issues that arise.
Supervise and coordinate the activities of the Facilities Maintenance Team, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
Conduct regular audits/inspections of facilities to identify and address any maintenance issues or safety hazards.
Develop / Maintain relationships with vendors and contractors, ensuring that all work is completed in accordance with contracted agreements.
Assist in the development and management of the Facilities Maintenance budget, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively and efficiently.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Facilities Maintenance and Reliability Manager.
Compliance and Safety/ Emergency Response
Ensure all maintenance activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
Promote a safe working environment by enforcing safety protocols and procedures.
Respond promptly to facility emergencies, such as power outages, system failures, or structural damage.
Coordinate rapid repairs to minimize disruption of operations.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Requirements:
- To ensure the health and safety in the workplace and for the protection of our employees', wearing PPE is a possibility and includes equipment such as a full Tyvek suit, safety shoes, gloves, safety glasses, face mask, and a full hazmat suit that includes a respirator.

Qualifications
Requirements - Required and/or Preferred:
Education:
- Basic/Required: High School Diploma or GED.
- Preferred: Associate degree or Bachelor's degree in facilities management, construction management, or related field.
Essential Qualifications
- At least 5+ years of experience in Facilities Maintenance, with at least 2+ years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMSs).
- Strong knowledge of building systems (mechanical, electrical, and controls) and infrastructure, safety regulations, and maintenance best practices.
- Experience with Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) programs.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations.
- Effective communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Must have working-level knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Requires valid State-issued driver's license.
- Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, steam process, Compressed Air systems, and electrical.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in maintenance management software and basic computer applications.
